The Stephen Ministry is an extension of the caring atmosphere here at SVCC. This ministry utilizes well trained lay men and women who provide individuals in our congregation and community the confidential, one-to-one distinctively Christian care and support when they are experiencing any number of life’s difficult circumstances.
EVERYONE needs support and encouragement from time to time. Stephen ministers provide support for many kinds of needs, including, but not limited to:
- Job crisis
- Birth, adoption
- Marital trials
- Hospitalization
- Spiritual crisis
- Terminal illness
- Disabilities
- Grief from loss
- Homebound/Elderly
- Stressful life situations
